Thanksgiving Weekend!

So on Thursday 11.25.2010 we went to my uncles house for Thanksgiving. I made Mac-n-Cheese :) sorry no pics, but here's Thanksgiving Hmong style

White rice, Sticky rice, Fried rice, Mash n Gravy, Steamed rice rolls, Eggrolls, fried meatballs, Stuffing, Potatoes, Ham etc etc.... oh and of course the Turkey all shredded instead of sliced.

Penny's Thanksgiving Dinner, but only thing she ate was the gravy

Here's the newest addition to the family little Ms. Amelia Vang - 2 months old she's so cute!! She wasn't very happy in the 3rd picture with my cousin Choua and I though lol

Then after Thanksgiving @ Uncle's we went to Lucy's house for Lilly's 4th bday party. I bought her the same exact cute liquid leggings that I got for Penny.

Here's a pic I snapped of Kody leaning on me from behind/Jayda on the sofa

Fun Fact

#Libras acquire knowledge as if from air, it’s as natural for them to learn and to apprehend something new as it is to breathe.

Photoshop fun!

Jacob & I

Cute video of my dorky son singing while taking bath

My sister, Nancy, secretly recorded Nickel singing while he was taking a bath. Too cute!

Making Pho for Dinner

So ... decided to make vietnamese noodle soup - pho (fuh) for dinner. Here are some pictures

Add some chopped yellow onions to a pot of water & beef boulon. I didn't take picture of the boulon - sorry. I will have a video up of it soon

Seasonings

You can add whatever you like to season to your taste. Here we have JIF crunchy peanut butter, Sriracha Hot sauce, black pepper, oyster sauce, pho paste, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, chili oil pepper, and creamy peanut butter ... all optional.

Garnish

Lime/Cilantro/Green onions (scallions and all) and Bean sprouts

The results!

My bowl of PHO

And for dessert

A coke glass w/Milky Way bar ;)

Still sick ...

Being sick is no JOKE. I slept until 4pm and my kids were negelected :(

What a quote

"Some people lose their faith because heaven shows them too little, but how many lose their faith when heaven shows them too much?"

Penny's new winter jacket

Bought this cute winter jacket for Penny @ Burlington Coat Factory. Bought Nickel a matching RocaWear jacket too. Too bad he's sleeping right now or I would have made him model his jacket too!
